First time trying this place for an anniversary dinner and all I can say is WOW. The food is spectacular. The house salad is absolutely delicious, I am still thinking about that dressing. My husband’s steak was so tender and flavorful. We might just make this a yearly tradition!
New York strip,ribeye steaks were great risotto was good though I'm not a pro on risotto. Both salads were excellent with hot croutons feta cheese. Ask for bald Brian he's excellent! Nice music and atmosphere
Food was fantastic. Service was really fast, like it surprised us how fast our drinks and food came out. Even for a Saturday evening.
As always exceptional experience had at the twisted Tree. I entertain customers for dinners and the wagyu tomahawk was amazing. Be sure to try the marrow butter it will elevate any steak, including the wagyu. Delicious sides, good drinks and desert wedding cake was also exceptional. Closed out the night with coffee and Baileys, a full stomach and good memories with my customer friends. Always will recommend twisted Tree.
Definitely in my top 10 favorite restaurants in St. Louis area. Everything was great. Beautiful restaurant. I loved the atmosphere. Bathroom was very nice. Service was over the top excellent 👌. We tried the Bone marrow appetizer and it was unique but very good. Best lobster bisque in all of the area. Steak was tender and flavorful. For sides we had Brussel sprouts, one of the best. Loaded mashed. My only disappointment was the squash. I was really shocked at how they were prepared. So many other options for cooking and taste. Tasted like I was eating a lemon and not cooked enough. The waiter took them off because I literally ate one bite and was like oh no. But everything else was soo good it was hard to believe there was a bad item on the menu. But if u like sauté crispy lemon squash might be your thing. Me I'm from the south and nope. The drinks were 5 stars!!! Best martini espresso I've ever had. It was like drinking a dessert. The st. Louis and twisted old fashion good choices too. We had the wedding cake for dessert and really good. It is like a pound cake.
The girlfriend and I decided try to a new place. I got a smashed burger and she got a prime rib melt. The food was Outstanding. Plenty of food for the price. Our waiter Martin provided terrible service. We saw him everywhere except our table. Only the 1x when we ordered food and 2nd when I waived him down to get refills that we were waiting patiently for. The nice girl using the hokie packaged our items to go for us because Martin was no where to be found. She even asked if we wanted any dessert. We stopped a different waiter to help us. His name was Corey. He helped us get our ticket and we paid through him. Hats off to him. He and the nice girl saved this review.
We got the lunch menu, and the experience was especially positive. We ordered a smokestack burger, a prime rib melt, and a couple of mocktails. Everything was tasty, and Julia’s service was particularly kind and timely. We recommend it.
We celebrated our 40th anniversary at the Twisted tree! Excellent service Jennifer was our waitress, we didn't catch her wait Helper woman, they were a great team!!! The food was fantastic! I had prime rib and my husband had the Salmon! Just delicious! This was our first time dining with you! Enjoyed tremendously! We will be back!
Twisted Tree is one of my husband and I’s favorite restaurants in STL due to its consistency. The food as a whole is so rounded from the large variety of appetizers, to the perfectly cooked steaks & seafood, to the rich desserts. All the bites are seriously good, but our large group's highlights were the house salad with all the fixings, NY strip, sea bass, and gooey butter cake. Although there are many great steakhouses in the STL area, we find ourselves coming back here most often! Such a friendly staff and a dark & cozy atmosphere. 10/10 recommend to all steak and seafood lovers, especially for any celebration or date night out!
We celebrated my birthday at Twisted Tree Steakhouse and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We started the evening with crab rangoon, which were perfectly crisp and served with two delicious dipping sauces. After that came the salads, fresh and beautifully prepared. The Caesar had generous parmesan shavings and a rich dressing that really stood out. Next was our first round of drinks, and the cocktails were excellent — smooth, balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. For the main course, we went all in with steaks, lobster, and shrimp, and everything was cooked perfectly. The flavor and presentation of each dish showed how much care the kitchen puts into the food. What really impressed me was the service. The servers were very disciplined and attentive to their roles. They listened carefully, communicated well, and everything moved smoothly throughout the meal. As we finished each course, they quietly cleared plates, wiped the table, and even bagged our leftovers, keeping everything clean and organized without interrupting the experience. I also have a nut allergy, and the chef personally spoke with me multiple times to make sure everything I ordered was safe to eat. That level of care and attention meant a lot. To finish the night, I had cake for my birthday, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Great food, excellent drinks, and truly impressive service. A wonderful way to celebrate turning 36. 🥂🎂
